At this time, City of Kyle Utility Billing customers can enroll in the UCAP donation program by speaking directly with city staff. City staff will then add a donation option to your account and ask what you would like your maximum donation to be per billing cycle or if you want to participate in the bill round up option.
Once that is complete, you will be given the option to add a donation to the UCAP Program by either adding any monetary value (up to the maximum) you choose or consider rounding up your monthly utility bill up to the nearest dollar.
To make a donation, customers must both select the donation checkbox and increase their payment amount to the rounded total. For example, if a utility bill totals $5, the customer would enter a payment amount of $7 and select the donation option. The additional $2 is then directed to UCAP. In this photo example, the customer has opted to never make more than a $15 donation.

The donation option does not automatically increase a customer's payment amount. Instead, the system allocates any overpayment designated by the customer to the Utility Customer Assistance Program. If a customer selects the donation option but only pays the exact amount due, no donation will be made.
The customer is then prompted to select a payment method for the updated transaction amount of $7.00, plus any applicable processing fee.
Note that if you overpay without checking the donation box, the extra amount will go into your account as an overage which turns into a credit on your next bill.
