Description and Background

The Quail Ridge Subdivision is currently served by septic systems. The City is planning utility improvements in the neighborhood to provide public wastewater infrastructure and address aging water infrastructure.

The project includes new wastewater lines throughout the subdivision, a wastewater stub-out at each property, replacement of aging waterlines, replacement of individual water services, and fire hydrant relocations as needed.

This project is intended to improve utility reliability, support public health and safety, and provide long-term infrastructure improvements for the neighborhood.

Quail Ridge is currently served by septic systems and includes aging water infrastructure. This project is intended to improve utility reliability and support long-term public health and safety.

The project is expected to add public wastewater lines in the subdivision and improve aging water infrastructure. It is also intended to support more reliable utility service for the neighborhood over the long term.

This project will primarily benefit residents and property owners in the Quail Ridge neighborhood. The improvements are intended to support safer, more reliable utility service.

The project includes wastewater lines, wastewater stub-out connections, waterline replacement, replacement of individual water services, and fire hydrant relocations as needed.

Construction is currently expected to begin in August. The current goal is to complete construction in early 2027.

Property owners will not be required to connect to the new wastewater system. Owners may choose to remain on their current septic systems.

The wastewater impact fee is currently $6,345 per connection. The impact fee will remain at this rate, so owners may choose to connect in the future at the same $6,345 impact fee. Property owners will also have the option of an interest-free payment plan of up to 36 monthly payments. More information on the payment plan will be shared as the project begins.
