2022 Road Bond Project: Windy Hill One-Lane Two-Way Flagging Operation East of IH-35

Starting Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 29, a portion of Windy Hill Road between the I-35 frontage road and Purple Martin Avenue will be reduced to a single lane with two-way traffic controlled by flaggers as part of the 2022 Road Bond construction project.

This temporary traffic configuration is necessary to allow crews to complete pavement widening work that will accommodate traffic during upcoming Windy Hill roadway realignment activities. Flagging operations may cause traffic delays, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible, during this time.

Work hours will be 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Drivers are asked to obey traffic signs, watch for flaggers and heavy equipment and drive with caution.
