The City of Kyle will host a General Election on Nov. 3, 2026. Important Dates

The deadline to register to vote in this election is October 5, 2026.
Early Voting will be October 19 – October 30, 2026.
The last day to submit an application for ballot by mail is 11 days before Election Day, if Election Day is a Tuesday - October 23, 2026. Election Day marked ballots by mail must be returned by 7 p.m. unless mailed from outside the United States. Overseas ballots have an additional 6 days past Election Day to arrive and be considered timely. To register or apply for a ballot by mail, visit the Hays County Government Center or the Hays County Elections Office's website.
There will be a General Election held on November 3, 2026.

City Council

Kyle City Council is composed of seven elected officials: the mayor and six city council members. Three council members are elected at-large (Districts 1, 3, and 5), and three are elected by district (Districts 2, 4, and 6); all serve staggered three-year terms. The mayor is elected at-large and serves a three-year term. The following positions will be on the Nov 3, 2026 ballot:
