2026 Kyle Mobility Plan
Project Overview
The City of Kyle is updating its 2021 Transportation Master Plan to address the City’s connectivity and transportation needs to ensure appropriate mobility planning amid ongoing rapid growth. This updated plan is called the Kyle Mobility Plan (KMP 2026), which kicked off in spring 2025 with completion anticipated by Summer 2026. The purpose of KMP 2026 is to provide a comprehensive, long-term guide for the City of Kyle’s transportation system that includes ways to improve and manage transportation and mobility infrastructure to meet the City’s needs.
Public Involvement
Community involvement is a key part of the planning process. An initial phase of engagement took place in late summer 2025 through pop‑up meetings at community events, a meeting at the Kyle Senior Zone, and online tools such as a survey and interactive comment map.
The second phase of engagement took place between April 21, 2026 and May 31, 2026.
The public engagement phase of the project has been completed. Through surveys, public meetings, and other outreach efforts, community members provided valuable feedback on transportation priorities, roadway connections, and the future bicycle network.
Thank you to everyone who participated. We received a total of 253 contributions during the second phase of engagement.
The project team is currently reviewing and analyzing public feedback and using the results to support project development, evaluation, and prioritization. Community input will help shape the final Kyle Mobility Plan and guide future transportation investments throughout the city.
Additional project updates will be posted as they become available.
