Project Overview

The City of Kyle is updating its 2021 Transportation Master Plan to address the City’s connectivity and transportation needs to ensure appropriate mobility planning amid ongoing rapid growth. This updated plan is called the Kyle Mobility Plan (KMP 2026), which kicked off in spring 2025 with completion anticipated by Summer 2026. The purpose of KMP 2026 is to provide a comprehensive, long-term guide for the City of Kyle’s transportation system that includes ways to improve and manage transportation and mobility infrastructure to meet the City’s needs.

Learn more, share your thoughts and input through our ongoing survey and interactive map at the Kyle Mobility Plan survey link or https://thegoodmancorpprojects.mysocialpinpoint.com/kylemobilityplan.

The survey and map are open now through Friday, May 22.

  • Thriving, Active, & Healthy
  • Integrate prior planning efforts into one document for mobility

Public Involvement

Community involvement is a key part of the planning process. An initial phase of engagement took place in late summer 2025 through pop‑up meetings at community events, a meeting at the Kyle Senior Zone, and online tools such as a survey and interactive comment map.

The second phase of engagement kicks off on Wednesday, April 22 with the Kyle Mobility Plan Open House at the Kyle Public Library from 6 - 7:45 p.m. This come-and-go style event will give members of our Kyle community an opportunity to review proposed transportation projects, provide feedback on the capital improvement plan, and share general input on mobility needs in Kyle.

Members of the Kyle Mobility Plan team will also be in attendance at the Kyle Fair, May 15 - 17 at Lake Kyle Park so residents can drop by, share their thoughts, and learn more about the effort.

Feedback can also be given online through an online survey and interactive map where residents can point out areas of concern, such as traffic congestion, safety issues, missing sidewalk or bike connections, transit needs, and locations where improvements are needed.
