Kyle Public Library offers reservable spaces that support learning, collaboration, civic engagement, and community connection. Whether you're hosting a public meeting or sharing information about your organization, our Library Spaces make it easy to connect with the community. Available Spaces

Browse the available Library Spaces below. Each space includes information about its intended use, eligibility, availability, and any applicable policies or fees to help you choose the option that's right for your needs.

Meeting rooms are available to eligible groups residing in or serving Hays County for public meetings, educational programs, workshops, and other community activities during regular library hours when not reserved for Library or City of Kyle use.

Each meeting room includes tables, chairs, and a projection screen. Reservations are subject to availability, eligibility requirements, and the Meeting Room Policy.

Quick Facts

  • Eligibility: Groups residing in or serving Hays County
  • Reservation Window: Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance and no more than 5 weeks before the event.
  • Fees: One reservation per calendar month (up to 2 hours) is provided at no charge. Additional reservations are $10 per hour. A $100 fee applies if food or beverages will be served.
  • Amenities: Tables, chairs, and a projection screen are included.
  • Approval: Reservations are subject to availability and Library approval.

Meeting rooms are intended for public, non-commercial use and may not be used for private social gatherings, fundraisers, political events, religious services, or similar activities.

Information Tables are available to eligible nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and Library support groups to share information about programs, services, and community resources with library visitors during regular library hours.

Information Tables provide a designated space for community engagement in the library lobby. Reservations are subject to availability, eligibility requirements, and the Information Table Policy.

Quick Facts

  • Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and Library support groups
  • Reservation Window: Requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance.
  • Duration: Reservations are available for up to 4 hours.
  • Frequency: Organizations may reserve an Information Table once per calendar quarter.
  • Staffing: Information Tables must be staffed by a representative of the organization throughout the reservation.
  • Approval: Reservations are subject to availability and Library approval.

Information Tables are intended to provide information and connect library visitors with community resources. Commercial activity, fundraising, political campaigning, solicitation, and religious services are not permitted. Approval of an Information Table reservation does not constitute endorsement by Kyle Public Library or the City of Kyle of the organization, its viewpoints, products, or services.

Study Spaces

Not all library spaces require a reservation. The Study Room and HushPods are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid library card for up to 2 hours per day, subject to availability. Tables, chairs, and comfortable seating are also available throughout the library for reading, studying, and quiet work.
