Mobile Library

Interested community members may inquire about services to a residential community such as a neighborhood or apartment complex, school or childcare facility, senior or assisted living community or other site in Kyle and the surrounding area. Please contact Jesus Hernandez, Community Engagement Librarian at email: jhernandez@cityofkyle.com or phone: 737-305-1550 to inquire about Mobile Library Services to your community. The Mobile Library does not make individual stops at private residences.

You will need your Kyle Public Library Card and your account in good standing to check out Mobile Library materials. Please see Library Card Requirements. Mobile Library materials check out for the same duration as other Library Materials. Please see our Circulation Policy for details.

Mobile Library materials may be renewed just as you would renew other library materials. Mobile Library materials may not be reserved or held. Materials are available to borrow on a first come, first served basis.

The Library considers factors like safety, staffing, and it's current commitments among others when scheduling services. You will be contacted within 3 business days when the library can confirm visit details. The Library responds to requests in the order in which they are received and not all requests result in a Mobile Library visit.

The Mobile Library carries a collection of print fiction and non-fiction for all ages in English and Spanish.

Mobile Library materials may be returned either at the Mobile Library or the Kyle Public Library.
