Rentals

The City of Kyle has baseball, softball and multipurpose fields available to rent. Reservations can be made at KyleRec.RecDesk.com and must be made 3 days in advance. The following facilities are available to rent:

Gregg-Clarke Park

• 4 softball/baseball fields
• 1 multipurpose Field

Waterleaf Park

• 3 softball/baseball Fields
• 1 multipurpose field

Steeplechase Park

• 2 softball/baseball fields
• 1 multipurpose field

Kyle Resident Rates through September 30, 2025

• Sports fields without lights - $30/hour
• Sports fields with lights - $50/hour
  • Only available at Gregg-Clarke Park

Non-Kyle Resident Rates through September 30, 2025

• Sports fields without lights - $60/hour
• Sports field with lights - $100/hour
  • Only available at Gregg-Clarke Park

Reservations for City of Kyle owned gazebos and pavilions can be made at KyleRec.RecDesk.com and must be made 24 hours in advance unless otherwise noted. Minimum rental time for all pavilions and gazebos is 2 hours unless otherwise noted. The following facilities are available to rent:

Gregg-Clarke Park

• Ash Pavilion
  • This includes the covered open-air pavilion at Gregg-Clarke Park. There are no tables or chairs associated with Ash Pavilion, guests must provide their own. Food is not allowed inside the pavilion. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Minimum rental time of 4 hours.
    • Kyle resident rate - $120/hour or $600/day
    • Non-resident rate - $240/hour or $1,200/Day
• Small Pavilion
  • Covered, open-air pavilion. There are no tables or chairs associated with this pavilion, guests must provide their own. Nearby public restrooms must remain available to all public. Does not include electricity.
    • Kyle resident rate - $30/hour
    • Non-resident rate - $60/hour

La Verde Park 

• Small Pavilion
  • Covered, open-air pavilion. There are no tables or chairs associated with this pavilion, guests must provide their own. Nearby public restrooms must remain available to all public. Does not include electricity.
    • Kyle resident rate - $20/hour
    • Non-resident rate - $40/hour

Mary Kyle Hartson Park

• Gazebo
  • Rental includes only the gazebo and electrical plugs under gazebo. Does not include restrooms or rest of Mary Kyle Hartson Park. Guests must bring their own tables and chairs.
    • Kyle resident rate - $20/hour
    • Non-resident rate - $40/hour
• Krug Activity Center
  • Rental includes the Adell Hurst Room and restrooms. The kitchen/serving area is not available to rentals. The seating capacity in the Adell Hurst Room is 90 and includes tables and chairs. Rental of Krug Activity Center does not include the park or Gazebo. Balloons, glass, glitter and decorations on the wall are not allowed. Reservations must be made at least 10 business days in advance. Minimum rental time of 4 hours. To schedule a showing of the Krug Activity Center, contact us at parks@cityofkyle.com. Republic Buildings

• Community Rooms
  • Available spaces: 208 Suite A, 208 Suite B, and 246 Suite A. Rental includes tables and chairs. Balloons, glass, glitter, and decorations on the wall are not allowed. Reservations must be made at least 10 business days in advance. Minimum rental time of 2 hours. To schedule a showing of the community rooms, contact us at parks@cityofkyle.com.     • Kyle resident rate - $40/hour
    • Non-resident rate - $80/hour

The James Adkins Pool is available for private reservations on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays beginning Memorial Day Weekend and ending in August. Reservations must be completed a minimum of 16 days before the event date. (Example: If someone wants to book a private party for the 18th of the month, they must have the reservation complete by the 2nd of the month.)

• Kyle Residents: $200
• Non-Residents: $230

Regular Pricing (dates TBA)

• Kyle Residents: $270
• Non-Residents: $300

CHECK YOUR ADDRESS HERE. The address that is entered will be based on the City of Kyle City Limits jurisdiction.

Food and Drink Policy: Private Rentals are welcome to bring food and drinks into the facility. Ice chests/coolers may be used to hold the drinks. However, we do ask that NO glass or alcohol be brought into the facility. If aquatics staff see glass or alcohol they will ask you to remove it from the facility due to safety concerns. Thank you for your cooperation.

Weather Policy: If there is lightning within 7 miles, lifeguards MUST clear the pool for 30 minutes. The 30-minute timer resets with every new lightning strike within 7 miles of the pool. This may affect the rental and prevent participants from being able to swim. The Aquatics Supervisor will reach out the following business day to discuss possible solutions.

Cancelation Policy: (Non-Weather) Cancelation requests must be WRITTEN and submitted via email to the Aquatics Supervisor. Requests must be received no later than the Sunday prior to the reservation date. Refunds/reschedules are on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Policy: ALL refunds will be in the form of checks. Checks will be mailed to the address on the reservation application. Up to 100% of facility usage fees may be refunded. Written requests must be emailed to the Aquatics Supervisor by the Sunday prior to the reservation date. Otherwise, all fees are forfeited by the renter. 

*Weather during the summer season tends to be unpredictable. All pool facility rentals are subject to last-minute cancelation due to weather. 

All James Adkins Pool rules must be followed at all times.

Deposit Policy: A $150 deposit must be made at time of reservation. The deposit, paid by credit card, will be deposited into the City of Kyle's Bank. The deposits are to ensure proper care and clean up of facility. A maximum of $100 of the deposit is refundable within the terms and conditions on the Use Permit. A City of Kyle check will be mailed within 30 days after the event.

Refund Policy:

• Full refunds will be made if written requests are received 21 - 29 days out from rental date.
• 50% refunds will be made if written requests are received 7 - 20 days out from rental date.
• No refunds will be made if requested within 0 - 6 days from rental date.

Weather-related cancelations: If you need to cancel your event due to weather, please email parks@cityofkyle.com on or before the date and time of your permitted use. Those that email may be able to reschedule their permit or refund their use fees.
