Teen and Adult Tiny Art (13+)
Display your artistic talents in our 3rd Annual Tiny Art Show! This year, we’re excited to welcome teen and adult artists to participate alongside our community.
Pick up a tiny artist kit from the library’s main desk. Return your mini painting to the library by the deadline listed below to be part of the showcase!
The tiny artist kit includes: a canvas, brush, and a small form to tell us about the inspiration behind your painting.

· March 5; 6 pm: Teen & Adult Tiny Art Showcase Reception
· March 5 – March 21: Tiny art on display
· March 21 – March 28: Artwork available to pick up by artist

Entry Criteria for Teen and Adult Tiny Art Showcase:
- Open to artists 13+ years
- You may use your own paint/other supplies if you’d like (as long as it's on the provided mini canvas)
- Art pieces must be brought to the library by the deadline to be included in the showcase
- Artwork must be picked up by the designated date after the reception
- Art must be appropriate for all ages
Textile Wall Hanging Craft (18+)

Spark your creativity and connect with others as you craft beautiful wall hangings from yarn, beads, and bells. This workshop, presented by Aging is Cool, offers a fun and supportive environment for all adults, including those who may need a little extra assistance.

Making friends as an adult is challenging, but you're not alone! This fun, relaxed, and stress-free event is designed to foster genuine connections. You'll engage in a series of quick, friendly chats. Start your own conversation or use the provided thought-provoking conversation starters. Afterward, enjoy light refreshments or get creative, making a custom keychain for a new acquaintance or yourself! You might just find a conversation partner that turns into a cherished, lasting friendship.
Coping with Stress Workshop (18+)

Burnout isn’t just stress — it’s a signal that something deeper needs attention. In this workshop, participants will learn to recognize the signs of burnout, understand the emotional and physical toll it takes, and discover evidence-based strategies for recovery and prevention.
This workshop will be presented by Katarina Lane, MA, LMFT-Associate | Innerbloom Family Therapy, and Siobahn Garcia, MA, LMFT-Associate |Alliance Counseling.

Beginner Watercolor Class (18+)

Get tips on how to handle impromptu interviews, such as those that might occur at job fairs. This workshop will help you prepare for the Adult Career Fair being held at the Kyle Public Library on Wednesday, April 29.

Are you a local job seeker ready to take the next step in your career? Bring your resume, a photo ID, and your best first impression to this free job fair. Local businesses are always looking for great talent, and this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
The library will provide free professional headshots, which will be emailed to participants after the event.
