Quail Ridge Subdivision Utility Improvements

The City of Kyle is planning upcoming water and wastewater system improvements for the Quail Ridge Subdivision. These infrastructure upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to enhance public services, improve reliability, and support the long-term health and safety of our community.

Wastewater System Improvements

As part of this effort, the City of Kyle will install wastewater lines throughout the Quail Ridge Subdivision. Each property within Quail Ridge will receive a wastewater stub-out connection. Homeowners will have the option to tie into the new public system or remain on their existing septic system. The choice to connect will be entirely up to each property owner.

Impact Fee Payment Plan

To make this opportunity more accessible, the City of Kyle will offer an interest-free payment plan for wastewater impact fees.

• Impact Fee Rate: The fee is set at $6,345 per connection, and this rate will be frozen indefinitely—property owners will never pay more than this amount, regardless of when they choose to connect.
• Payment Plan Option: The impact fee may be paid in up to 36 monthly installments of approximately $176 per month.
• Property Sale Considerations: If a property is sold before the balance is paid, responsibility for the remaining payments will remain with the original owner unless otherwise negotiated between buyer and seller.

This program ensures that residents have a fair, flexible, and affordable path to connect to the City’s wastewater infrastructure.

Water System Improvements

In addition, the City of Kyle will be replacing the existing aging waterlines in Quail Ridge with brand-new water infrastructure. The current system will remain active until the new lines are fully installed and tested. As part of this process, all individual water services will be replaced, and fire hydrants will be relocated as needed to meet current city safety and engineering standards.
