Yvonne Flores-Cale to be Sworn in as Kyle Mayor
KYLE, TEXAS –– On Tuesday, December 23 Yvonne Flores-Cale will be sworn in as the new City of Kyle Mayor at 6 p.m. at Kyle City Hall.
Flores-Cale previously served on Kyle City Council District 2 from 2020-23 and works as a paralegal.
On Monday, December 22, during a special Kyle City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m., 2025 election results will officially be canvassed, certifying Flores-Cale to serve as City of Kyle Mayor to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term expiring November 2026. Another Mayoral election will be held in 2026 as the 2025 election was called per city charter following the early departure of the previous mayor.
District 1 Council Member Courtney Goza will also be sworn in on Tuesday, December 23. District 3 Council Member Claudia Zapata and District 2 Council Member Melisa Medina were sworn in on Tuesday, November 18. For more information on Kyle City Council, visit CityofKyle.gov/Council.
