Downtown Master Plan

The Downtown Kyle Master Plan is an effort intended to help preserve and protect the City’s charm while allowing for careful improvements to the downtown area including existing and new public spaces and buildings. The City of Kyle is asking for community input that will help create and guide a new Downtown Kyle Master Plan. 

Public Engagement and Adoption Schedule:

• April – May 2022 - Public Opinion Events and Online Questionnaire  
• June 2022 - Master Plan Development  
• July 2022 - Finalized Master Plan
• July 12, 2022 - Consultants Barnes Gromatzky Kosarek Architects gave a presentation to Planning and Zoning Commission regarding the Downtown Master Plan and Survey Results
• Thursday, Nov. 17​, 2022 - Planning and Zoning Commission First Public Hearing
• Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022​ - Planning and Zoning Commission Second Public Hearing
• Tuesday, Dec. 6​, 2022 - City Council First Public Hearing
• Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023 - Thursday, March 2, 2023 - 2nd Downtown Master Plan Survey is launched
• Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 - Downtown Master Plan Open House
