Teens Arrested in Connection with Kyle Shooting
KYLE, TEXAS – Three teens are in custody after a shooting in Kyle left another teen injured earlier this summer. 

The incident happened Tuesday, July 29, in the 700 block of Hometown Parkway during a planned meet-up between the individuals involved. The juvenile victim was transported to a nearby hospital, treated for their injuries, and later released. 

Following the investigation, 18-year-old Diego Alejandro Tijerina of Buda and two juvenile suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting. All three now face charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, deadly conduct, and engaging in organized criminal activity.  

Detectives continue to piece together the events surrounding the incident and are urging anyone with additional information to contact Detective Carrasco at pcarrasco@cityofkyle.com or submit an anonymous tip to Hays County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-324-8477.
