NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:

The City of Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will consider a request by Risewell Homes (Case No. Z-25-0141) to amend a Planned Unit Development (Ordinances No. 1028 and 1111), known as Gregg Gardens. The proposed amendments would revise the concept plan and adjust the boundaries of the Residential Townhouse (R-1-T), Single-Family Attached (R-1-A), and Single-Family Residential-3 (R-1-3) zoning districts, which may result in increases or decreases in the acreage of each district.

A public hearing will be held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on:

Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 6:30 PM

The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the request and the Planning and Zoning Commission’s recommendation on:

Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM

The City of Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will consider a request by Eufemio & Julia Castillo (Case No. Z-25-0142) to rezone approximately 0.18 acres of a 0.428-acre tract from the interim zoning classification of Agriculture (A) to Single-Family Residential (R-1).

A public hearing will be held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on: Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:30 PM

The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the request and the Planning and Zoning Commission’s recommendation on: Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM

The City of Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving testimony, comments, and written evidence from the public regarding proposed code amendments to Chapter 53, Zoning, and Chapter 54, Landscaping and Screening Requirements, of the City of Kyle Code of Ordinances.

The proposed code amendments are intended to clarify tree survey requirements and exemptions related to the saving and preservation of existing trees.

Amendments are proposed to the following sections:
Chapter 53 – Zoning
     - Section 53-5, Definitions
Chapter 54 – Landscaping and Screening Requirements
     - Section 54-12, Trees

A public hearing will be held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on: Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:30 PM

The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the request and the Planning and Zoning Commission’s recommendation on: Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM

FY2024-2025 CAPER

The City of Kyle will submit its fiscal year 2024-2025 The City of Kyle will submit its fiscal year 2024-2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program on December 29, 2025.

This report is submitted in response to the performance requirements described in the Consolidated Plan regulations at 24 CFR 91.520. This report summarizes how CDBG funds were expended and the resulting accomplishments during the reporting period of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.

A draft of the report will be available for viewing by the public from December 9, 2025 through December 26, 2025, at the City of Kyle Planning Department, 100 W. Center Street, Kyle, Texas 78640, during office hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The draft report of the CAPER will also be placed on the City of Kyle website at www.cityofkyle.gov. Written or verbal comments will be accepted during this time and forwarded to the regional HUD office.

Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:

The City of Kyle shall consider a request by Nila Gavarrete, (Z-25-0140) to rezone approximately 0.2174 acres of land from ‘RS’ (Retail Service District) to ‘CBD-2’ (Central Business District-2) for Lots 8 & 9, Block B, of the Original Town of Kyle Subdivision, located at 201 & 202 S. Old Hwy 81 in Hays County, Texas.

The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 6:30 PM. 

The City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The City Council may consider, assigning any zoning district which is equivalent or more restrictive.
