Building Department Rulings and Procedures
The City of Kyle Building Department provides code interpretations, authorizes alternative materials, design and methods of construction and approves code modifications when there are practical difficulties in carrying out its provisions. This flexibility built into our code allows for this and since these determinations can be beneficial to contractors and homeowners alike, we have decided to post them here. In addition, we will be housing any new or updated Building Department procedures so the most recent information can be viewed by our customers.
